Illumination and mooring UAVs to help Xiongan’s night construction

Nighttime construction is increasingly common, but traditional construction site lighting methods have significant drawbacks. However, the introduction of lighting drones is expected to revolutionize construction site lighting due to their high orientation and multiple angle capabilities.

Current Logic offers an advanced DC-DC converter power supply system that allows customers to convert existing drones, such as DJI drones, into lighting platforms. This system enables quick operations by individual operators, with the entire setup taking less than 5 minutes to get airborne. The lighting system can be equipped with 500 watts and 60,000 lumens of LED lights, providing uninterrupted continuous lighting for 12 hours. Its effective coverage area can reach 5,000 square meters.

Previously, workers often faced difficulties in finding bolt holes due to inadequate lighting near the work areas, significantly affecting work efficiency. However, with the new tethered lighting UAV system, workers now have two powerful light sources above them, simulating daylight conditions. This not only improves visibility but also allows for better monitoring of safety and construction quality in real-time. By solving issues like dead spots, ghosting, and insufficient local lighting, the innovative use of UAVs as lighting sources greatly enhances the efficiency and safety of nighttime construction operations, ensuring better construction quality.
